Dr. Thomas joined the Audiology & Speech Language Pathology faculty at UNT in 2018. She earned her BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences from University of North Texas in 2003 and her Doctorate of Audiology from University of North Texas in 2007. Prior to UNT, Dr. Thomas worked as a pediatric audiologist in a hospital setting and as an educational audiologist in the public schools. Her clinical interests and skills are in the areas of ototoxic monitoring, newborn audiological assessment, and electrophysiological assessment of auditory sensitivity. Dr. Thomas currently supervises first and second-year AuD students in the UNT Speech and Hearing Center and teaches the graduate NeuroAnatomy and Physiology of the Auditory and Vestibular Systems and Medical Audiology courses. Dr. Thomas also currently serves on the board for the Educational Audiology Association.
